Lesson from 26/11

10 terrorists 400 commandos 60 hours ! are not you surprised? A lot of hostages have been killed. Were we are heading? Now the revelation that there were sufficient intelligence and warning about the attack. What is not known is the frequency and nature of these warning. Are they issued by intelligence officers to save their skin on such unfortunate occassion. Do we have any statistics which can show the percentges in which such warning were correct or the warnings were actually actionable. Without these stats, it is difficut to blame the authorities for not attending to such warnings. 

What we have learnt from these? We need to make ourself more strong. We should not hope for each and every facility from the Government. What is the contribution of each citizen in running the nation ? Let us think about it.

Status of the Politics

I have been thinking of creating a personal blog for long. Finally the unfortunate events of the past few days, turned thoughts into reality.

With interest I saw various debates on the TV and anger of the people. Anger of the people, is understandable. However, are not they over reacting?

Should a CM be returned from a house of the solider? Well his comments that father of a soilder should have better behaviour is justified. However, without thinking for a movement, he added anoter sentenance about Dogs which is not acceptable.

This also indicates the extent to which the politician are insensitive to the feelings of people. The top leadership, it seems is out of sync with the masses.

On top, the comments of the BJP functionaries about the lipsticks etc. God Save India, God Save Indian Politicians. 

What is interesting to note that you do not see several leaders, such as Advani, Amar Singh, Raj Tackery. They do not have the courage to face people, it seems.
